Anna Cianci Obituary
Anna, (nee Passalacqua) age 90, of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026.
Anna was born in in the town of Torricella Peligna in Abruzzo, Italy. She emigrated to the United States at the age of 19. She was proud to have worked at Villanova University and enjoyed watching the Wildcats win the National Championship in 1985. After her retirement in 1998, she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, canning tomatoes and spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted grandmother. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed.
Predeceased by her husband Domenico A. Cianci, her parents, Giovina (nee DiFabrizio) and Giuseppe Passalacqua, her adoptive parents, Maria (nee DeCroce) and Donato Passalacqua, her brothers, Mario (Elisa), Antonio (Finucia), Nicola (Nicoletta), and Quirino Passalacqua, and her sisters Elisa DiPaolo (Nicola) and Maria Vittorio (Emanuele).
Survived by her children, Donato R. Cianci (Sharon) and Maria A. Blair (Anthony), her three grandchildren, Donato, Jr. (Abbey), Nicholas, and Tara, and her brothers, Carlo (Maria) and Donato (Guylaine) Passalacqua.
Relatives & friends are invited to her Viewing Monday, January 19th, 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at Saint Anastasia Roman Catholic Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
