Anna Marie Cox, was born July 13, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri to Richard and Jamesetta Richardson.
Anna Marie graduated East High School Class of 1968. She was employed many years at Superior Linen in Kansas City. She spent most of her free time loving on her family and assuring a morning text to let you know she was thinking about you. She was a member of Beacon Hill Church of the Nazarene and was an active member of the Ladies Prayer Group. Anna Marie encouraged others and was always the positive voice in our conversations
Her eternal rest was granted, Saturday September 16, 2023, at St Luke’s Medical Center. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her son, Edwin Cox Sr.; Grandson, Edwin Cox Jr.; both parents, Richard and Jamesetta Richardson; soul mate and life partner, Raymond Williams; step-father, Andrew Griffin, and his loving niece, Tracy Richardson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Michael Cox; Three granddaughters, Brianna Brown- Cox, KaMia Bushnell – Cox and Genice E. Cox; one grandson, Michael Avis Rouse; five sisters, Glenda Jones, Rachelle Price, Mary Richardson, Cheryl Langford and Karen Wells (David); and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023, visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Beacon Hill Church of the Nazrene located at 2814 Troost Ave. KCMO 64109.
