Anna Marie Cozzone passed away on January 3, 2024, in Prospect Heights, Illinois. She was born on October 18, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois to Orlando and Irene Imbrogno.
Ann embraced her role as mother of three and delighted in being a loving grandmother to five cherished grandchildren. Her selflessness extended beyond our home, dedicating time to volunteer at the church and sharing her culinary skills that brought joy to many. Her kindness, generosity, and ability to bring people together will forever resonate in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thomas D. Cozzone; her children Gina Cozzone, Nicole (Scott) Amos and Natalie (Michael Ortega) Cozzone; her grandchildren Joseph Ortega, Emma Amos, Claire Ortega, Charli Barbera and Adelyn Amos, her mother Irene Imbrogno (nee Shibona) and her brother Ernest (Kathleen) Imbrogno.
Preceded in death by her father Orlando Imbrogno.
A visitation will take place from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A visitation will also take place from 10:00am until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd. Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (https://ovarian.org).

I had the pleasure of being an Elmwood High School classmate of Anna. I also had the pleasure of working with her at a grocery store when we were teenagers. Anna was always happy, kind, friendly and classy. My sincere condolences to her family. May The Lord's Peace Be With Them.

Ann was a regular member of our Teal Hearts Network support calls at NOCC and she will be missed greatly. No matter how she was feeling, she always gave a supportive word to her teal sisters during these calls and always had a message of hope for others. We are so sorry for your loss!

Ann was one of the sweetest hardest working women that I have ever known. My time with her at AAR was wonderful. She would always stop at my desk and we talk about the old days growing up. I will miss her terribly. She fought the good fight and sadly cancer took her life. To Tommy and all her kids and grandkids, my wife Lisa and I send our sincere and heartfelt sympathy.
