Anna Mae Gearhart, 103, of Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, April 21, 1022, in the Westmoreland Manor. She was born Sept. 8, 1918, in Bullskin Township, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Workman Bailey. Mrs. Gearhart was a graduate of the former Dunbar Township. High School. She was employed at the former Mt. Pleasant State Bank later PNC for 38 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mt. Pleasant. She is survived by one son, Bruce Gearhart and his wife Brenda of Mt. Pleasant; two grandchildren, Jason Gearhart and Julie Liska and her husband Michael and three great-grandchildren, Jillian, Jordan and Jayden. Anna Mae was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Clarence A. "Bus" Gearhart; a great-granddaughter, Janelle Gearhart; and one brother, James Bailey. As per Anna Mae's wishes there will be no public viewing and private services will be held by the family with interment in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt. Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department in memory of Anna Mae Gearhart. Anna was a sweet lady. Once i spent time visiting her in ridgeview she told me all about her life. God blessed her with many years. RIP Anna
