Anna Mae Hubble

Anna Mae Hubble, 96, of Anderson, IN passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022 at Rawlins House. Anna was born on January 16, 1926 in New Castle, IN to William and Minnie (Elmore) Dickerson, Sr. She married the love of her life, Russell Hubble and they were married 53 years before his passing. Anna worked at Guide Lamp in the General Production department for a number of years. Anna was a terrific cook and loved to bake. She "always had a pot of coffee on." She loved to knit and would make everyone in the family little booties. She loved traveling and visiting Watts Bar Lake with her late husband. Anna loved her birds and flowers, she was an all around farm girl who wanted to take care of everyone. Most importantly, she loved her family and her grandchildren. Anna will be dearly missed by her son, Steve (Cheryl) Hubble; her grandchildren, Jeff (Janie) Hubble, Greg (Angie) Hubble, and Kim Green; her great-grandchildren, Cody (Ericka) Hubble, Kaily (Alex) Kamo, Morgan Hubble, Jarrod Hubble, Taylor Hubble, Lacy (Jonathon) Valentine, Bobbie Green, Bayley Green, Ashley (Richie) Palmer, and Taylor Newman; her 7 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Hubble; her son, Gene Hubble; her grandson, Troy Hubble; and her siblings, Mary Keesling, Betty Hubble, and Bill Dickerson, Jr. The visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. The service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anna's name may be gifted to the Alzheimer's Association or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
