Ana was such a beautiful person, she was good friends with my mother in law. At the time of my second sons birth we were all excited about him being born on Anna’s birthday. She brought light, love and laughter to all those around her. The last time I saw her she was happy and telling funny jokes as always. I will forever remember her beautiful soul until we meet again Anna.

My Aunt Millie was a great friend of Anna’s in earlier days. She always talked about Anna and her being Married to Gordon Jump. I grew up in Blackstone, VA
Aunt Millie and my Mom Allie Mae left Victoria VA to live and work in Blackstone. They are both in Heaven now probably reminiscing with Anna. God Bless her family.

I met Anna and Gordon when they produced and directed, the musical, The Music Man for the Glendale Stake. My family were in the cast and we all loved Anna and Gordon. They were so talented and worked so hard to make sure we all enjoyed every minute of the frequent rehearsals.

I just heard today. My heart hurts but yet also is full of joy that it was my gift to know her. She brought love and joy to so many people.

My mother named me after Anna, her sister and Robert E. Lee. I was always excited to see Anna at her home in Blackstone, Va. where the locals would ring her door bell and ask her to laugh like Hazel Witch, her character at a Richmond TV station and then leave. Once she was visited me in Ga. in a glassworks store and a train came by. Anna fell to the floor and covered her head fussing about the large vases on the top shelves. She thought the train was an earthquake. I thought she had lost her mind. Another time we were in a Hampton Inn and she got stuck in the tub. I had to call the rescue squad to help her out. I will miss my aunt Anna.

I absolutely loved she and her husband. They taught me to love the theater. Gordon directed me in the “Young Imp” in the Glendale ward. My parents babysat their girls a couple of times.

When I first moved to Southern California in the mid 70’s, Anna Jump was one of the first people I met. I immediately fell in love. Her great kindness, generosity of spirit, and a whip cracking sense of humor drew people to her. Being around her was always a joy, and always time well spent. Anna, Andrea and love you, and you will be greatly missed in our lives as we mourn your passing, but rejoice in the fact that you’re having a joyful reunion with those who have gone on and we’re waiting for you.

Anna brought so much love and happiness into everyone's life who knew her and she gave of herself freely. And WOW was she funny. How many of us were pleased to experience what she considered her musical talent.... "playing her nose." She offered to babysit our first born son so we could have a night out. Anna, we are so happy that you are now with your sweet little one, Alexander.

I loved Anna "Luscious" Jump with all my heart! She was pivotal woman in my teens. I was blessed to perform in many of her and Gordon's plays in our Glendale West and Glendale 2nd Ward.
My husband and I spent several hours in Gordon and Anna's home on our first date. I was tasked with feeding their dogs, watering their plants etc. while they were away on vacation. She will always have a special place in my heart. I am happy she is reunited with loved ones. She was a light here on this world!! Love to Cindy, Kiva and Maggi-jo!

What can you say about a person like Anna? She just lit up the room or where ever she was. What fun we had with her and Gordon at the theater, they were so much a part of it. I remember the day Gordon brought her to the theater and announced they were going to get married, and they remained dear friends ever since. She will be missed.

Anna was the mother of my childhood friend Kiva. What a wonderful woman that cared for all of us. I will always remember her taking all of us to Baskin Robbins on a hot summer day ❤

I have so many wonderful memories of Anna. She had such a fun personality and I loved her accent. She would ask me to babysat Kiva and Maggie-Jo and she paid me to help clean her house when she lived just a few houses away from ours, on Olmstead. I have great memories of being in "Bye, Bye Birdie" and "The Music Man" when our ward put on those productions, directed by Anna and Gordon. I remember when they came over to our house for dinner. If there were times when Anna needed a ride somewhere, she would call my mom. I cherish all the memories of such a beautiful person.

Oh the fun and laughs we shared traveling, playing Mahjong and Hand & Foot. Meeting another Virginia gal in LA was truly kismet. Anna was a born entertainer, caregiver and collector of fine things and she adored her kids and grandchildren. It is hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember. Oh the memories we made. Love and miss ya Luscious!❤

Anna was my first Young Women's leader. I remember hanging on her every word. I simply adored her. I can still remember an activity making cookies at her home.
