Anna Mary Manz, 92, of White Oak passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh on November 23, 1932 to the late Erwin and Elizabeth (Steimels) Goertler. She was the loving wife to the late Raymond Anthony Manz before his passing in 2016. Ann was an incredibly talented pianist/organist, and musical educator. After graduating from Elizabeth Seton High School, Ann attended Duquesne University for her Bachelor and Master's Degree in Music Education. As the Director of Music Ministries, she taught among many catholic grade & high schools, as well as Point Park University. Anna was also a member, for more than 15 years, of the sisters of St. Francis in Millvale, Pa. She is survived by her wonderful children, Eric D. (the late Suzanne) Manz, Karen A. (Kevin) O'Malley, Steven R. (Joann) Manz, and Luanne Danner; grandchildren, Nicole (Harrison) Biddle, Aaron (Emily) Manz, Joseph, John, Kailee, and Owen Manz; as well as great-grandchildren, Grace, Tobias, and Bella; a sister, Emily Bailey; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna is preceded in death by her siblings, Henry Goertler, Betty Jane, and Catherine "Sybil" Shore. Friends are welcome Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 4-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131. (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, director. Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 9:30 am at the Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish - 3300 California Avenue Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212 (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH).
