Anna McElroy Obituary
Born on March 18, 1937 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Anna lived a long and full life marked by devotion to her family and a deep appreciation for the natural world. Her love of animals and gardening brought her joy throughout the years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, several siblings, first husband, Conrad Kee; second husband, Donald McElroy Sr.; her sons, Leland Kee and Shawn Kee, and step daughter Diana Barks. Though she experienced profound loss, she remained a source of strength and warmth to those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Lillis (Vince); her granddaughter Ashley Stoeckel (Craig); grandsons Adam and Ethan Kee; great-granddaughter Kendra Stoeckel (Alex); stepson Donald McElroy Jr. (Lynn); and step grandsons Jake and Cody McElroy. Her legacy lives on through each of them.
Visitation will be held from 10am to 12pm on Friday, December 19, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on December 19, 2025 at 12pm at Elias, Kallal, and Schaaf Funeral Home, 1313 W Delmar Ave. In lieu of Flowers please make a donation to the 5A's animal shelter, where she had gotten several of her feline friends over the years.
