Anna Merz

Anna Merz was a remarkable, selfless, brave and dedicated Lady. Her amazing Rhino Reserve in South Africa, Lewa holds more than 120 rhinos, constituting 11 percent and 14 percent of Kenya's black and white rhino populations respectively, according to the conservancy. In the 1980s, Merz and landowners David and Delia Craig founded the Ngare Sergoi Rhino Sanctuary, which later took the Lewa name. Dear Anna, I am related to you and I am in awe of your selfless love and dedication towards the protection of the Black Rhino. Your wonderful Legacy will continue on for many Generations. I am so very proud and grateful to you for all the remarkable achievements you were able to accomplish. May You, Dear Anna Rest In Peace. Love from Tina

I am so sorry to read about mrs Anna Merz, if more people was like her the world would be a better place.

As a friend of over 40 years I feel the sad loss of a very remarkable woman. As will the rhino conservation movement and many others.
