Anna Morales Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dettling Funeral Home on Jan. 11, 2026.
Anna Marie "Annie" Morales (Medina), age 74, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on December 29, 1950, in Temple, Texas, Anna lived a life defined by devotion-to her family, her faith, and her passions.

Raised in Corpus Christi, she graduated from Mary Carroll High School and attended Del Mar College. These formative years shaped her unwavering commitment to hard work and perseverance. Together with her beloved husband, Enrique "Henry" Morales, Anna co-owned and operated businesses in real estate, income tax preparation, and property tax services. Her dedication was instrumental in their success and in inspiring Henry and two of their children to pursue thriving careers in commercial real estate.

Anna's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her husband Henry; their children Daniel Morales; Katherine Bailey and her husband Matt, along with their children Sophia and Brennan; and Elizabeth Morales Rowold and her husband Andrew, with their daughters Everly Grace, Viviana Mercedes, and Karalina Trinity. She also leaves behind two cherished sisters, Irma Martinez and Silvia Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria Bertha Medina and Juan Jose Medina of Corpus Christi, and her sisters Virginia Marie Medina Mouton and Rita Morales.

A devout Catholic, Anna found strength and comfort in her faith, attending Mass regularly in earlier years. She was a selfless wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth touched everyone around her.

Anna loved life's simple pleasures-gathering at the table with her children and grandchildren, listening to murder mysteries on Dateline while twirling a lock of her hair, and collecting rare coins. She had a keen interest in real estate research and approached every pursuit with curiosity and diligence. The beach was her sanctuary, whether in Corpus Christi or Galveston, and she cherished receiving flowers from her grandchildren on Mother's Day and her birthdays. Conversations about her father and reminiscing about times with her sister Virgie were moments she treasured deeply.

Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched-the laughter shared over family stories, the unwavering support for her loved ones' dreams, and the enduring love she gave so freely.
