Anna Pia Orsi, affectionately known as “Pia,” left this world on February 7, 2026, in Lanzarote, Spain at the age of 62. Born on July 13, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois, Anna embodied a spirit as vibrant as the day she was born— a firey soul with a sense of loyalty and genuine love for friends and family.
Anna dedicated a significant portion of her life to serving others as a bar tender, restaurant server and owner of her father’s restaurants from 1981 to 2001. Her commitment to the business was evident in every interaction, defined by her strong sense of unwavering need to make everyone happy.
As the second oldest in the family, Anna was more than an older sister; she was a second mother to her younger siblings. She had always been their protector as she watched over them. She made sure they were taken care of, just always there for them no matter what. She was a pillar of strength, trustworthy and loyal to the core of her existence to all she loved.
Anna lived a life grounded in strong faith in the universe. She resided in Albany, WI with her dear friend and travel companion, MP. There, she had many loving and caring neighbors that she enjoyed being around. She biked, tended to her garden, her DIY projects and cooked/baked for all around her as well as continue her passionate love for travel.
In the company of her family and friends, Anna shone brightest as a Chef and Baker, she had an innate ability to bring joy to those around her with all her great meals, wine and desserts one could ask for. She loved to make everyone’s favorites as she was always wanting to make them happy.
Anna is survived by her sister, Daniela Marre and husband Anthony; their sons, Georgie, Alex and Anthony Marre with his wife Francesca and their son Anthony Wayne. Her brother, George Orsi and wife Rosalia with nieces Rita and Lina. Her brother, Frank Orsi with nieces Francesca and Sophia.
