Anna Mae Peterson

I remember my mother taking me to the wedding in Wyanet for her brother, Ronald, and Anna Mae. After the ceremony, we drove around town blowing car horns.
On Sundays, Janet and I kept in touch by phone with my aunt even after she moved to Galva. She was a loyal fan of the Cubs and Bears teams, and we shared experiences about friends, relatives and farm crops.
One of our visits to the farm, Uncle Ronald was moving straw bales from the barn to the end of the lane for decoration at Halloween. Just for fun, Anna Mae and Janet rode in the tractor bucket back to the barn. That's what friends do.
