Anna (DeRienzo) Redmond of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. She is 95 years of age.
Born on Monday, December 5, 1927 in Boston, Anna is the loving daughter of the late Frank DeRienzo and Rosaria (Guarini) DeRienzo. Anna is a warm, kind, spirited & loyal daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew her. A sassy spirit by nature, Anna wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Anna is the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Redmond. She is the devoted mother of John Redmond and his wife Karen, Robert Redmond and his wife Kimberly and Barbara Redmond. She is also survived by her beloved cat Norman. The cherished grandmother of Kristine Redmond, Ryan Redmond, Lee Redmond, Kyle McDermott and Paul Redmond, Anna is the doting great grandmother of Paisely Leone, Emerson McDermott, Logan McDermott, Colbi McDermott, Weston McDermott and Kingsley Redmond. She is the dear sister of Victor DeRienzo, Lena Zagarella, Netta DeWart, Lucy DeWart and the late Olga Martinec, Elizabeth Cataldo, Angelo, Vincent, Richard, Anthony and Raymond DeRienzo. Anna is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her beloved cat Norman.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Anna’s Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, November 7th at 10am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Anna’s Family on Monday, November 6th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers.
