Anna Staggs Obituary
Born on March 4, 1934 in Bethel, MD, she was a daughter of the late James William and Pansy Lorraine (Maynard) Virts. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. "Herb" Staggs on January 31, 2011; a grandson, Corey Staggs; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Staggs; three sisters and six brothers.
Mrs. Staggs, a loving homemaker, was formerly employed with the Kinney Shoe Factory in Romney and with the Potomac Motel in Keyser.
She attended the Fountain Gospel Chapel for many years.
Surviving are her children, Charles Wayne Staggs and wife Judy and Joyce Meyer and husband Wayne, all of Keyser and two sisters, Doris Davis of Keyser and Mary Engle of Westernport, MD.
A funeral service will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Michael Goldizen officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed on the Smith Funeral Homes Facebook page beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the Headsville Cemetery, Headsville, WV.
