Anna Wright Obituary
Born April 12, 1934, in New Matamoras, Ohio, Anna was the cherished daughter of the late John and Bessie Meyers Brown. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Wright; her sister, Audrey Thompson, and brother, Norman Brown.
Anna was a proud graduate of East Liverpool High School, Class of 1952. She was formerly employed as a clerk at Neal Shoes in East Liverpool. A devoted member of Chester First Christian Church, she was also active in the ELHS Alumni Association and the Crazy Eights Card Club.
Anna will be fondly remembered for her delicious apple dumplings and her ornery sense of humor, which brought joy to all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Wright (Lisa), and daughter, Susan Congo (Carl), all of East Liverpool; her grandchildren, Jason Congo (Lisa), Danielle Freeman (Matt), and Hayden Wright; and her great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Sydney, Kate, Ian, and Jeffrey "JJ" Joseph.
Friends may visit with Anna's family on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A private interment will be held at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
