Annabel Dominguez Flores 53, of Abernathy, Texas fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on November 22, 2025, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family. She was born March 17, 1972, in Abernathy to the late Jose Dominguez & Lydia Mendoza Dominguez.
Annabel graduated from Abernathy High School in 1991 where she lived until she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. She later married Leroy Flores on January 11, 2020, in Abernathy, Texas. She was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene in Abernathy, Texas.
Annabel loved shopping for everyone and for every occasion, especially Christmas. She was the first one to remember a birthday or anniversary. She loved the Seattle Seahawks and OSU football. She had a heart of gold and a very unique personality that you couldn’t help but fall in love with.
She was preceded in death by her father Jose Dominguez, nephew, Gilbert Ramos Jr, brothers-in-law, Jessie Costilla and Tony Salinas Garcia, and countless great nieces and nephews who were in the arms of Jesus before they opened their little eyes, who Annabel will watch over in Heaven.
Annabel is survived by her husband, Leroy Flores of Abernathy; mom, Lydia Dominguez of Abernathy, Texas; her sons Michael Dominguez of Abernathy, Texas, AJ (Baneza) Dominguez of Abernathy, Texas and Ceasar (April) Costilla of Crosbyton, Texas; brother, Jerry (Cindy) Dominguez, of Petersburg, Texas; sisters, Gilda Costilla of Muleshoe, Eufemia (Arnulfo) Ramos, of Abernathy, Texas, Olivia Duque of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Olga (Oscar) Martinez of Lubbock, Texas, Isabel (Jose Luis) of Mission, Texas, Maria (Jorge) Gonzales of Dallas, Texas; and grandkids, Adalee Costilla, Adam Barela, Anthony Barela, Aryana De Los Santos, Luciano Gomez, Jorge Gomez, Lathanio Gomez, Julisa Hernandez as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will truly miss her.
