Annabell Fusaro, 93, of Beverly Hills, FL, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025. Born on August 2, 1932, in Stamford, CT. The daughter of the late Eli Leo Pia and Angelina Lomazzo Pia.
Annabell was a resident of Stamford for 89 years and relocated to Beverly Hills, Florida to live with her son and family.
Annabell graduated from Stamford High School, class of 1950. Annabell worked as an Executive Secretary for Northern Warren Corporation, Lord and Taylor Fur Salon, and as a medical insurance claim processor for the late Dr. Martin Beirne of Stamford. As a young adult woman, Annabell owned a horse and enjoyed equestrian riding. Annabell was an avid member of several Stamford women's softball leagues. Annabell will best be known as an avid golfer which she excelled in. Annabell won many tournaments at Hubbard Heights and Sterling Farms golf courses in Stamford as well as High Ridge Golf Course in Pound Ridge, NY.
Annabell achieved what few could by hitting two hole in ones at Hubbard Heights. She was also the recipient of an Achievement Award from the Sterling Farms Women's Golf Association in 2006. Annabell enjoyed gardening, going thrifting and antique shopping, listening to Yani or Andrea Bochelli, playing golf and tennis, and spending time with her family and pets. Annabell's greatest joy was the birth of her grandchildren Benjamin and Allison. She cherished these many memories with each of them as they grew up. Adding to her joy was getting to meet her beloved great grandson Leo. Family was her most cherished gift from God and it fueled everything she did.
Annabell is survived by her loving son, Christopher Fusaro and his wife Pamela of Beverly Hills, Florida, her grandson Benjamin and wife Victoria, granddaughter Allison Fusaro, and great-grandson Leo. Annabell is predeceased by her parents and devoted husband of 63 years, Arthur Anthony Fusaro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo's Parish, 24 Roxbury Rd., Stamford, CT. Interment will immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien, CT.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Annabell's memory to Preborn.com
