Annabelle Errico Kelly
1926 - 2021
Annabelle Errico Kelly of St. Augustine, Fl and formerly Orange, CT and South Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Born in Naugatuck, CT on October 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Doris Vellturo Errico and Domenic Errico, and wife of the late Frederick 'Bud' Kelly, mother of the late Doreen Mary Kelly and grandmother of the late Kevin Fisher. She was also predeceased by son-in-law Richie Johnson and daughter-in-law Liz Kelly. She leaves two sons, Fredrick Kelly (Lori) and Daniel Kelly and four daughters, Denise Kelly (Peter), Marianne Kelly, Kim Kelly Fisher (Kimm) and Jill Johnson. She also leaves eight grandchildren, Katy Fisher, Derek Johnson, Kelly Martin, Dan DiBisceglie, Kyle Johnson, Sean Johnson, Daniel J. (DJ) Kelly and Megan Kelly and four great grandchildren, Parker and Annabelle Martin and Everly and Jack DiBisceglie. She is also survived by her sister, Dolores Moore (late Everett 'Mort' Moore) and too many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to recount. In 2014, Annabelle and high school friend Bill Ahern were reunited and spent six years enjoying each other's company before Bill's passing on October 16, 2021. Our family grew to love Bill and truly appreciated the tender loving care he gave our mom.

Annabelle attended nursing school at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury as part of the cadet program during World War II. As an RN at St. Mary's Hospital, she went on to marry the love of her life, Frederick 'Bud' Kelly, upon his return from serving in WWII with the US Coast Guard. Prior to her retirement to their home in South Dennis, Cape Cod, Annabelle was a nurse at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven and then the Veterans Administration Hospital in West Haven. 516 Dogwood Road in Orange and 10 Bayview Circle on the Cape were sources of great joy to our mother and so many others

Denise, Freddy, Marianne and Dan would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Kim and Jill for their tender loving care of our beloved mother. Your commitment and devotion to her care can never be overvalued. Our family would like to extend our deep gratitude to Sandra, Donna, Rosena and Sara for the excellent care they provided for our mom from Seasons Hospice and Palliative care.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of the little things that will bring tears and laughter at the same time. My Sincere Condolences It will never be the same, going home to shelton without stopping to visit Uncle Bill and Annabelle. Annabelle was very sweet and kind. I will miss her.
