Anne M. Bird

Anne M. Bird (nee Murphy) on November 14, 2025 of Deptford. Age 84. Beloved wife of Ronald Bird. Loving mother of John Munch of West Deptford, Joseph Munch (Maria) of West Deptford, Kelly Alberta (John) of Gloucester, and Nancy Coleman of Deptford. Cherished sister of Raymond Murphy of Florida, Nora Murphy of Deptford, Betty Anne Foster of Kentucky, and the late Theresa Mileski, Francis Murphy, and Judith Murphy. Devoted grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 15.

One of Anne's biggest passions was the Miss NJ Scholarship pageant, where she spent more than 40 years encouraging young women to reach for their dreams. She was a member of the Semper Fidelis Marine Corps Detachment #204, and was a member of the Cara Irish Society. She enjoyed traveling to Ireland and weekends at the shore with the grandkids. Her other passion was nursing. She held many positions as a registered nurse during her lifelong career at Underwood Memorial Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9am to 12noon in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, NJ 08096.
