Anne Pauline Dean, 89, of East Falmouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 2, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late James P. Dean and daughter of the late Anthony and Claire DeMello.

Anne graduated from Holy Family Catholic High School in New Bedford. She worked as a receptionist at JML Care Center for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner at St. Patrick's Church in Falmouth. Anne loved hosting family holiday celebrations and took great pride in her loving family. She also enjoyed playing bingo with friends and visiting Foxwoods Casino. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her sharp wit and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Anne is survived by her three children: Kevin Dean and wife Debra of Falmouth, Susan Dean and fiancée Scott Estrella of Marston's Mills, Karen Mooney of Falmouth, her sister, Arlene Hebert, her brother Richard DeMello and eleven grandchildren: Zachery, Melissa, Paige, Devin, Michelle, Christopher, James, Sarah, Crystal, CJ and Steven. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren: Nicholas, Hailey Anne, Ava, Keira, Chandler, Cian, Alexander, Maya, Ryan, Sophia, Trista, Layla, Patrick, Emmalyn, James, Thomas, Paxton, Christopher Jr, Hailey, Jackson, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Patrick Dean, her brother James DeMello, her grandchildren Ashley Dean and Joseph Mooney, and her great granddaughter, Layla Dwyer.

A Visitation will be held at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, MA, on Tuesday September 9, 2025, from 9:00am to 10:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main Street, Falmouth, MA, at 11:00am. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA, at 12:30pm.
