Anne M. Formica passed away on November 21, 2025. Anne was born on August 9, 1930 to Frank and Rose Formica, the youngest of six children. She resided in Atlantic City (her parents established the Formica Brother's Italian Bakery at 2310 Arctic Avenue in Atlantic City) until 1966 when she and her parents moved to Margate. Anne was a lifelong member of the St. Michael's Church and a longtime member of its choir, and for the last 16 years was also a member of the Mary Help of Christians Society. She received her elementary education at St. Michael's School and graduated from Atlantic City High School's class of 1947. Several years later, Anne earned an Associate's degree in the Arts from Atlantic Community College. Anne worked at the Atlantic City District Office of the Prudential Insurance Co. She was a former office manager, retiring in 1987 after 34 years of service. Anne was a patron of the arts, the theatre arts in particular. A longtime member of Show Makers Theatre Guild, she enjoyed performing in all phases of its shows. Ann also enjoyed attending the many Broadway plays and musicals. Her many travels included all the East and West Coast, and several states in between; Canada, Mexico and several cruises through North and South America. Her most memorable trip was her seven weeks European one, traveling through eight countries and a cruise back to the U.S. After visiting the Italian and French Rivieras and the Island of Madeira off the coast of Portugal. Anne's most inspiring travel was her Holyland trip to Israel and back to Rome. Anne is predeceased by her parents; her sisters Lena and Anna; her brothers Domininck, Mario, and Frank; and her sisters-in-law Quinta, Aquilla, and Lorraine (Cookie) Formica. She is survived by her nephews and nieces -- Frank Dominick (children, Donna, Rachel, Marie, and Frankie); Joe, Rosanne (children Michele and Richard (deceased), Mario (children Mario and Danielle), Dominick, and Frank David. She is also survived by several other grand and great-nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th at 10 am, followed by an 11 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, 10 N. Mississippi Avenue., Atlantic City. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
