Anne Heagler

Anne Heagler, 88, of Pine Bluff, was a devoted Christian, and homemaker who loved bowling, roller skating, baking and her animals, especially her dogs and cats.
She passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
Born Shirley Annette Ketchum August 14, 1937, in Lonoke, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Rheba Tarry Woods.
She was reared and received her early education in Lonoke, graduating from Lonoke High School in 1956. Anne Ketchum married the love of her life, Wirt Reed Heagler, Jr. July 21, 1956.
Mrs. Heagler became a devoted housewife and mother to her husband and children. In her free time, she was an active member of the Coffee Cup Bowling League and roller skated in many different places. She was even known for baking cookies for her favorite ENT doctors, Dr. Shorts, Dr. Buckley and Dr. Langston.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pine Bluff for many years, where she taught Sunday School. Mrs. Heagler later became a member of First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wirt Reed Heagler, Jr.; brother, Edward Ketchum; and three sisters, Nell Ketchum, Mamie Hargraves and Wanda Lane.
Survivors include her son, Reed Heagler (Robin) of White Hall; daughter, Lynn Davis (Larance) of Shannon Hills; granddaughter, Katie Heagler; and great-granddaughter, Anna Leigh Barnes.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with the service following the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Kenneth Thornton officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
