Anne Louise Isberner (née Gregory), a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, at the age of 76.

Born on April 27, 1949, in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Anne was the treasured daughter of John Vincent Gregory II of Boston and Mary Catherine (Beaton) Gregory of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She was married to Edward Isberner for 17 years, during which time they made their home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised their family together. In her later years, Anne shared her life in Milwaukee with her partner, Dennis, and her beloved cat, Chase.

Anne was guided throughout her life by compassion and generosity. She dedicated her time and energy to helping others, volunteering with the Salvation Army and Literacy Services of Wisconsin. Her kindness, quiet strength, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Isberner; her older brother, John Vincent Gregory III; and her younger brother, Donald Alexander Gregory. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her sons, Alan (Maria) and Matthew (Jayna); her cherished grandchildren, Bree, Addison, Henley, and Fynn; and her niece, Becky. Her family and friends will forever remember her warmth, generosity, and unwavering support.

Friends and family are invited to honor and celebrate Anne’s life on Friday, April 17, with visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Helen Church, 3329 S. 10th Avenue, Milwaukee. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m., with interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

In keeping with Anne’s lifelong passion for helping others, memorial contributions may be made to Literacy Services of Wisconsin. Her kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.
