Anne Marie LaGrossa
(nee Calabro) Of Mt. Laurel, NJ, passed away on March 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. LaGrossa. Loving mother of Stephanie Monaco (Alan), the late Charles J. LaGrossa (Cynthia), Andrea Rodier (Mark) and Valerie Hoover (Gregory). Devoted grandmother of Christopher Monaco (Laura), Michael Monaco (Kelly), Charles LaGrossa (Nicole), Marissa Lanza (Steve), Joseph LaGrossa, Patrick Rodier (Elizabeth), Jennifer LaGrossa (Dan), Timothy Rodier (Baylee), Margaret Hoover (Jacob), Benjamin Rodier, John LaGrossa, Matthew Hoover and Annamarie Rodier. Great grandmother of Christopher and Leo. Dear daughter of the late James Calabro and the late Jennie Montecalvo Calabro. Sister of the late Anthony Calabro (the late Dolly), the late James Calabro (Lucia) and the late Robert Calabro (Antoinette). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Anne Marie grew up in South Philadelphia and graduated from Hallahan High School in 1957. She later lived in Cherry Hill, NJ and Mt. Laurel, NJ. Her life was defined by her devotion to the Blessed Mother and she served on the Altar and Rosary Society and as a Eucharistic Minister in parishes where she was a member. Her family was extremely important to her and she loved to use her great cooking skills for them. She was a fastidious housekeeper, even when she was holding down one of many different jobs as a secretary. Family and friends are invited to her viewing 9:30-10:45am and to her Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Friday, April 5, all at the Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. Burial will follow in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Samaritan Hospice and Health Care.
