Anne K. Mintz

Anne K. Mintz, 93, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away from natural causes on February 25, 2026.

Born June 15, 1932, in Donelson, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Leonard R. and Annie G. Keeling. Anne graduated from Pleasant Hill High School in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee, and earned a degree in English and Technical Writing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She retired from the University of Tennessee’s Zoology and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Department.

Anne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted her time and energy as a key supporter of Anna’s Gate Widow’s Ministry, an active member of Church Street United Methodist Church, and enjoyed singing, folk dancing, and ballroom dancing. Anne was preceded in death by her son, Robin Mintz. She is survived by her sons, Mark Mintz and Jonathan Mintz; her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Jim Bleidorn; her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as other cherished friends and family.

Flowers may be sent to Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, Tennessee. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Operation Smile in her honor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 11:00 a.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, Tennessee, with a graveside gathering to follow at Mayland Cemetery in Mayland, Tennessee.
