Anne Morrison

Anne Morrison, 73, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed peacefully on October 27, 2025.

Anne was born on January 14, 1952, in Jasper, Alabama, to James William Earnest and Nannie Belle Hayes Earnest. She had a fun-loving and caring spirit and spent many years devoted to caring for others. Anne earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Pensacola Junior College and proudly served her community as a Registered Nurse at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for over 30 years, where she touched countless lives with her unwavering dedication.

In 1994, Anne married the love of her life, Jeff, and together they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and deep devotion. In 1996, they settled into their home on Cinco Bayou, where Anne treasured sun-filled days living on the water. She found true joy near the water - whether walking on the beach, boating along the bayou, or simply sitting on the dock watching the resident heron, lovingly named Big Bird, who visited daily. Her dogs were her babies, and loyal companions and her home was the center of warmth, love, and the lively chatter of family and friends stopping in for visits.

Anne leaves behind her beloved husband, Jeff; sons Steve (Kim), Dave (Kerstin), Jason (Jessica); and Ryan (Sara). She was the proud grandmother of Cooper, Briar, Sal, Emma, Lauren, and Mason. She is also survived by her brother, Chris, and her nephew, Caz.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Nannie, her brother Jimmy, and her grandson Bryson.

Anne's legacy is one of love, fun, and laughter. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and remembering Anne's beautiful life. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 22, 2025, at The Place on Beal, 100 Beal Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
