Anne Newcomb Obituary
She was born on May 16, 1924 to the late Oscar P. and Myrtle (nee Stephany) Ruffing. Anne is survived by her sons, David R. (Michelle) Newcomb, Jr. and William H. (Joan) Newcomb, her daughters, Martha N. (Peter) Boyd, Lucy N. Vayo and Elizabeth N. (Lawrence) Tibbetts, ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, her sister Myrtle R. (late George) Mattey and her sisters-in-law, Nancy N. (late Alvin) Wortman and Carrol R. (late Michael) Newcomb.
Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, David R. Newcomb, sister Rosemary R. Miller and brother Oscar P. Ruffing, Jr.
A Funeral Liturgy (Mass) will be celebrated on Monday, October 2 at 10 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 6441 Seneca St., Springbrook, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of East Aurora or the American Red Cross of Western New York.
