Anne M. O’Connor

Anne M. O'Connor (nee Donohue) of Tarrytown, NY and Naples, FL (formerly of Crestwood, NY), passed away on August 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late William V. O'Connor. Loving mother of Deirdre and Robert (Katherine). Devoted grandmother of William, John and Margaret. Dear sister of Sheila Geissler and the late John Donohue.

Anne was a woman of strong faith. She was a long-time parishioner of Annunciation but would find and attend Mass wherever she traveled. After years of watching Bill attend NY Giants games on Sundays, Anne learned about the game and became a devoted Giants fan herself. She enjoyed tennis, travel and her time on the beach, especially in Cape Cod, Aruba and Naples. Anne's real passion, however, was her family and friends. Her favorite times were those spent with Bill, her children and/or grandchildren. She loved entertaining, particularly hosting family and friends at the Cape and hosting holidays in Crestwood. Anne was the guiding light for her family; she set the example and made sure that her children and grandchildren followed it. She was proud of her heritage and was quick to remind you that she was the daughter of Irish immigrants and was raised in the South Bronx. She will always be loved and never be forgotten.
