EAST DURHAM - Anne "Cissie" Rohan, 92, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson.
Anne was born Anna Marie Campbell on July 6, 1933 in Brooklyn, to Peter and Annie Harkin Campbell. She resided in Brooklyn and the Bronx before settling in East Durham. Anne was a communicant of Our Lady of Knock Shrine in East Durham, and member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians. She enjoyed Irish dancing, playing the accordion, and cooking.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Maureen (James) Armstrong; son, John M. Rohan Sr. (Patricia Norton Rohan); grandchildren, Carolynn (Trevor) O'Brien, Jimmy Armstrong, John M. Rohan Jr., Meaghan and Thomas Rohan; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Chloe O'Brien; many cousins, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Anne was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Rohan; brothers Jackie and Peter Jr.; and sister, Frances.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 21st from 4 to 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Knock Shrine, 2052 State Route 145, East Durham, NY 12423. Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 22nd at 11 a.m. in the Shrine, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Catskill.
