It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Anne Francis Smith, a beloved mother, devoted partner, and cherished friend. Anne left this world on April 21, 2025, at the age of 78, surrounded by love and warm memories.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, Anne lived a full and vibrant life while making Milford her home for many years. She proudly earned her High School Diploma and took secretary and short hand classes. Her working career started, after her divorce, at Semple and Associates where she meet the love of her life Frank. This lead her to a fruitful career at Duke Energy where her dedication to her work was always evident.
Anne was not just a professional; she was the heart and soul of her family. A loving mother to her son, Rick, and a treasured mother-in-law to Yvette and Nicki, she left a legacy of strength and love. Her granddaughter, Isabella, was the joy of her life, and Anne delighted in every moment spent with her.
Those who knew Anne will remember her fondly for her warm smile and her passion for life. She had a profound love for the beach, particularly Sanibel Island, where she found peace and happiness alongside her long-time partner, Frank McCullough. Together, they created memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
In keeping with Anne's wishes, there will be no formal services. Instead, we invite all who knew her to remember her in their own special ways. Whether it's by planting a tree in her honor or making a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, let us carry forward her spirit of kindness and compassion.
Anne Francis Smith will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and family will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
Anne was preceded in death by parents Stanley and Dorothy Radcliff and son David.

Of course, Anne & Frank had plenty of stories to share at the local gathering spots among friends or with family. But, many involved auction a profession we have shared in common and dual career for Anne. It takes an incredible woman to share your life with a professional Auctioneer because its hard work and demanding of your time. Frank was lucky enough to have Anne a friendly, kind, caring, generous hearted , confident and supportive partner like Anne to mention a few characteristics. I appreciate our twenty five plus year friendship and beyond auctions were a lot of fun to be around. I told Frank many times he hit the jackpot with Anne and super jackpot with her two incredible Sons David and Ricky. She was so proud of her boys and enjoyed hearing about them. I miss my conversations with Frank since passed and kept in touch with Anne up to a week ago. Just learned today she passed from Ricky and explains why didn´t answer my text message on Easter Day. My heart hurts at her passing and cannot be sad because somewhere it´s 5pm in heaven and Frank sits alongside her, David and family members along with friends gone earlier home.
