Anne Elizabeth Swiderski

Anne Elizabeth (Rowell) Swiderski, aged 77, of Dewitt, MI, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, in Lansing, Michigan. Born on April 19, 1946, in Rochester, New York, Anne's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with dedication, kindness, and an enduring love for her family and friends.
Anne was a graduate of Avon High School where she left her mark as a member of the National Honor Society and the High School Band. Her academic journey continued at Alma College, where she received her Associate's degree in Liberal Arts, and later, her Bachelor's degree, highlighting her lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth.
Professionally, Anne was known for her meticulous attention to detail and her entrepreneurial spirit. As a bookkeeper, owner, and operator of Express Trucking, she combined her sharp business acumen with a warm, personable approach that endeared her to colleagues and clients alike.
Her interests extended beyond her professional endeavors. Anne was an avid nature enthusiast who cherished the simple pleasure of taking long walks with her beloved dogs. These tranquil moments amidst the beauty of nature were a source of solace and joy throughout her life.
Anne's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving sister, Kathy Speicher, and brother-in-law, John "Jack" Robert Speicher. She will be deeply missed by her nephews, William Carpenter Johnson and Christopher Lee Johnson, along with his wife Jennifer. Her spirit will continue to inspire her great-nieces, Allison Kylee Johnson and Avalee Grace Johnson, who will grow up hearing stories of their remarkable great-aunt.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, William and Evelyn (Englehardt) Rowell, and her husband, Michael Edward Swiderski. The love and lessons they shared with her have left an indelible mark on her life and on the lives of those who loved her.
As we bid farewell to Anne Elizabeth Swiderski, we reflect on a life well-lived-a life filled with grace, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. There will be a celebration of life in honor of Anne on her birthday weekend in her sister's garden for friends, neighbors, and family on Sunday, April 21, 2024 time to be determined at a later date. The family has entrusted arrangements to Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, Grand Ledge.
