Mrs. Anne Lois Thompson, age 88 of Dyer, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Avondale Health & Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be conducted on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 2PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Latch officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
She was born October 30, 1936, in Dyer, TN; the daughter of the late Artie Lewis & Bessie Mae Selph Holderfield. Mrs. Thompson retired as an Administrative Assistant at the Milan Arsenal. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyer.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by daughter, Lori Carter (Anthony); five grandchildren, Allen, Aimee, Austin, Cody, Ryan; seven great-grandchildren; four nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Wayne “Nick” Thompson; son, Phillip Thompson; three sisters, Mavis Lowrance, Katherine Eddlemon, Margie Todd; one niece; and one three nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12PM until service time on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Dyer chapel. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Anne Lois Thompson.
