Anthony (Tony) Christodoulou

With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Anthony "Tony" Christodoulou, who departed this life on December 29, 2025.
Tony was born on March 13, 1975, in
Detroit, Michigan, and was a beloved son, brother, family member and friend. He is survived by his devoted mother, Nota, and his loving brother, George. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Spyridon (Sam) Christodoulou, as well as his grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his aunt, cousins, and many dear friends.
Tony lived his life with passion, loyalty, and a genuine love for those around him. He was a dedicated sports enthusiast from a young age and especially excelled in athletics during his school years. In high school, Tony played football, basketball and baseball, where his talent, determination, and team spirit stood out. He also enjoyed playing soccer, including time spent with the St. Nicholas Church soccer team, where faith, friendship and sport came together in meaningful ways. A lifelong fan of Detroit sports, Tony proudly supported the Detroit Lions.
Tony devoted more than two decades of his career to PMP Marble & Granite, making a significant impact in the stone industry. His commitment and hard work contributed greatly to the company's success and reputation. Tony will be deeply missed by his colleagues, who consider him part of their work family, as well as by many clients he served throughout the years. His presence and contributions will be remembered with gratitude and respect.
Tony held his Greek heritage close to his heart and deeply cherished family traditions. One of his greatest joys was celebrating Greek Easter at his home, surrounded by loved ones, laughter and the customs that connected him to his roots.
Beyond sports and tradition, Tony was known for his unconditional love for animals. He shared a special bond with his beloved dog George and he lovingly cared for his cat and fish.
Tony will be remembered as a wonderful person, a loyal friend, a hard worker and someone deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his many relatives and friends, both in America and Greece.
Anthony "Tony" Christodoulou will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, from 4-8PM with Trisagion at 7PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons 2600 Crooks Rd. Troy (248) 362-2500.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, at 10AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 760 W. Wattles Rd. Troy. Visitation at the church will begin at 9:30AM.
Final resting place Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit.
