Annette Cineas-Exantus, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and Reverend was peacefully called home to God on August 28, 2025, at the young age of 57 years old. She was born on October 9, 1967 in Au Cap, Haiti and later moved on her own to the United States at 16 years old. She settled in Stamford, CT, attended and graduated from Westhill High School and Pace University. A woman of unwavering integrity and dedication, Annette embarked on a fulfilling career in nursing, helping countless patients as a Registered Nurse for over three decades. Her passion for nursing and community outreach is remembered by every person she crossed paths with while working at the Community Health Center in the South End of Stamford. In July of 2005, she answered God's call to open Tabernacle of Grace Church where she led the congregation as the beloved Reverend for 20 years. During her time as Head Pastor, she impacted many lives through prayer and powerful sermons that brought many souls close to God. She was not a traditional Reverend, she was a confidant, friend, and mother figure to many. Outside of her professional and pastoral duties, Annette's greatest source of pride and joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her family. She is survived by her husband, Andrevil Exantus, 11 children: Sydelle, Edyne Emmanuella, Mark Andre, Rebecca, Daniella, Joshua, Christie, Caleb, Alexandra, Audreyanna, and Anna-Lynn, her son in law: Dwayne Smith, and her 2 grandchildren: Donovan and Delia Smith. She was a pillar of strength and wisdom, offering guidance and support through life's triumphs and challenges. Annette found joy in simple pleasures whether it was tending to her garden, raising chickens, or playing with her grandson. Her smile was infectious and her kindness knew no bounds, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her homegoing service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 9am at Stanwich Church, 202 Taconic Road, Greenwich, CT. Burial will follow at Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Erskine Road, in Stamford, CT.
