Annette Powell Curl, of Collins, passed away late Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Community Hospice.
Mrs. Curl was a lifelong resident of Collins and was a daughter of Troy Powell and America Sikes Powell.
Annette worked as a seamstress at several apparel companies in Toombs County. After retiring she thoroughly enjoyed being a babysitter for her grandchildren and the children in her community. She loved to make delicious treats, especially pound cakes and banana pudding.
Mrs. Curl is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred, James, and Ray Powell; sister, Mary Lou Rewis; and grandson, Nathan Curl.
Surviving are four sons, Roy (Dianne) Curl of Mt. Vernon, Dean (Dawn) Curl of Collins, Robert (Jenny) Curl of Collins, and Ricky (Kathy) Curl of Collins; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Kennedy Funeral Home Cobbtown Chapel.
The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11 AM with Pastor Efton Green officiating
Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
