Annette Grenier Obituary

Visit the Mack Family Funeral Homes - Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Chapel website to view the full obituary.

Annette Grenier left us peacefully on March 26, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a woman whose radiant spirit and unwavering love for God and for her family will always be remembered.

Annette was born on May 17, 1930, in Gardner, MA, and was a beacon of warmth, kindness, and joy in the lives of everyone who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Leo C. Grenier. She was a graduate of Gardner High School and resided in Westminster for over 60 years. She devoted her life to creating an incredibly loving home for her family where she shined as a mother and homemaker. Her home was her canvas, and she painted it with the colors of her love, compassion, care, and positive outlook.

She was employed by the Gardner Savings Bank and served as a waitress at Friendly's and the Westminster Country Club. Annette loved to dance, travel, and enjoy the beauty of her flower gardens. She had a special fondness for blueberry picking and playing cards, and her laughter during these activities was infectious. Annette's legacy is not just in her achievements but in the countless memories she created with her loved ones.

She is survived by her children, William Grenier and his wife, Catherine, Shelley Teal and her husband, Walter, Sandra Farrar and her husband, Anthony, Joseph Grenier and his wife, Janice, Frannie Bell and her husband, Gary, Mary Doucette, and her husband Fred, Margaret Huhtala, and her husband, Paul, 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, her brother, Edward Roy, two sisters-in-law, Theresa Grenier, Doreen Roy, and many nieces and nephews.

She joins her parents, Edgar and Alfreda Roy, her stepmother Alice Roy, and her siblings, Ralph, Ronald, Robert, Donald, and Leah, in eternity.

Annette's family would like to acknowledge the care given to her by Care Central VNA, especially Cassandra, Brianna, Sarah, and Carolina, as well as Gayle, who was her home health care nurse.

Calling hours for Annette will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Mack Family Funeral Home-Gardner Chapel, 105 Central Street, Gardner, Massachusetts. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the same location. Burial will take place at 11:45 am at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Westminster, Massachusetts.
