Annette Harrison, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on May 9, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. She was 92 years old.
Annette was born on February 24, 1932, in Spring Valley, MN, to Howard and Carmen (Wratz) Zeek. She graduated from Rochester High School and later embarked on a fulfilling career as a Nuclear Medicine Technician in Cardiology at Mayo Clinic, dedicating 30 years to her work.
Family was at the center of Annette's life. She married and raised five children, which kept her very busy. She loved spending time with her kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and frequently shared photos and stories about them to her friends.
Upon retirement, Annette embraced community and leisure activities. She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and the Friendship Club. Her volunteer work at the Senior Center, where she taught computer classes, earned her the endearing title of the "techy grandmother" among her grandchildren.
Annette had a passion for creativity, enjoying many crafts and exploring new destinations through travel. Yet, her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her family and friends, creating treasured moments.
Annette is survived by her children, grandkids, and great grandkids. Her son David (Tricia) Harrison of Colorado Springs, CO, their son Alex (Derek), and daughter Ashley (Marcus) and their kids Hunter, Killian, and Emmalyn. Her daughter Susan (Jeff) Flemming of Sartell, MN, their son AJ (Sommer), and daughter Amanda (Brandon). Her son Tom Harrison of Rochester, MN, his son Andrew (Michael), daughter Nicole (Mike), and son Luke (Em). Daughter-in-law Cindy Harrison of Plainview, MN, her daughter Courtney (Daryl) and their kids Tianna and Kolton, and son Tyler (McKenzie). Daughter Janne (Jan) and Dan Cotroneo of Estero Florida. Her brother, Richard (Joni) Mickelson of Bloomington, MN; sister, Jean Dayton of Nevada along with many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Carmen (Wratz) Zeek; her son, Jim Harrison; her sister, Mary Stopinski; and her niece, Jenna Mickelson.
Annette's legacy of love, caring smile, and generous heart will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched.
