Maudie Annette Kelly, 83, of Climax, Ga, passed away Tuesday November 25, 2025, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bainbridge, GA in August of 1942 to Fredrick "Freddy" and Clara Mae Shepard.

Annette worked from home as a homemaker sewing for others until all her kids were in school. She then went to work for Ithaca Sewing factory for over 15 years until they closed. For the next 10+ years she worked in Dietary and became supervisor at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital where she retired to help and spend time with her family.

She loved family get togethers, rather it was reunions, trips to St. George Island, riding dirt roads on the side by side, or just setting and talking at the house. She had a generous and loving heart and would help others anytime she was able to. She loved cooking and baking with and for her family. She would always check in on the ones she loved if she knew they were going through a tough time.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Jeff Kelly (Marilyn) and Rick Kelly (Christie) both of Climax, GA; her daughter, Clara Robinson of Iron City, GA; her brother, Jimmy Shepard (Brenda) of Climax, GA as well as many grandkids and great-grandkids whom she loved very much and brightened her day along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Phillip Kelly, her son-in-law, Chad Robinson, her brother, Danny Shepard, and her sister, Louise Miller. Annette leaves her family with many memories and cherished moments.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor DeWitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Jeff Kelly, Rick Kelly, Austin Robinson, Greg Kelly, Ken Shepard, Zach Turner, and Jimmy Shepard serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Bryant Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.bryantfuneralga.com. Memorial donations may be made to Cedar Grove Cemetery Fund, PO Box 247, Climax, GA 39834.
