Avery-Storti Funeral Home & Crematory - WakefieldAnnette S. Lee, 91 of Wakefield, passed away at South County Hospital on February 20th after a two-month illness. Born in Pawtucket on September 14, 1934, she was the fifth of nine children born to Louis and Yvonne (Rogers) Lefebvre.
Annette married the love of her life, Frank Lee in 1955 and they enjoyed 63 happy years of marriage. Annette was a resident of South County for 53 years, having lived in Narragansett and Wakefield. A cherished and dedicated employee of McDonald's in Wakefield for 40 years, Annette worked primarily in the drive thru window, where she enjoyed interacting with multiple generations of customers as well as her co-workers. In retirement, Annette enjoyed countless RV trips around the country with Frank, and many warm winters in Florida. She loved working in her yard and home, cooking, and spending time with family.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Frank on April 21, 2019, her parents, brothers Gilbert, Francis, Joseph, and Leo Lefebvre and their wives, sisters Doris Keyser and Claire Crudele and their husbands. Survivors include son James F. Lee (Maria) of East Providence, daughter Donna Doll (William) of East Greenwich, son John J. Lee (Susan) of Wakefield, brother Gerard Lefebvre (Mary Louise) of Cumberland, sister Rita Conte (Rick, deceased) of Stoughton, MA., granddaughter Jennifer J. Lee of Providence, grandson Michael J. Lee (Diana) of Rhome, TX., step granddaughter Lea Rojas (David, Sr.) of Denton, TX., granddaughter Jennifer Hoover (Kelsey) of North Attleboro, granddaughter Michelle Doll of Smithfield. great granddaughters Clara Hoover of North Attleboro and Madison Lee of Rhome, TX., step grandchildren Ariyana, David, Jr., Alyssa, and Lola Rojas of Denton, Tx., and a host of nieces and nephews and their families. Annette will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 10 AM in Saint Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Narragansett. Burial will follow with her late husband Frank, in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. A celebration of Annette`s life is tentatively scheduled for Spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart and Lung Association.
