Annette Stump Obituary Annette Kay Stump of
Warsaw, Indiana passed away at home on Monday, October 13, 2025, at the age of 81. She was a wonderfully strong and stubborn woman who loved her family fiercely. Annette lived a good life filled with the love of her family who will dearly miss her.
She was born on March 4, 1944, in
Warsaw, Indiana to Charles and Edith (Folts) LaFollette. Annette was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where she was a graduate of Warsaw High School. She was a hardworking lady who retired from R.R. Donnelley's in Warsaw and never retired from being Mom.
On August 18, 1969, she married Robert "Bob" Cecil Stump, Jr., they were blessed with 56 years of marriage before Annette passed away. Together they raised a large family who blessed them with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Always very spirited and full of life, they enjoyed many years creating memories and had lots of fun. Bob loved her unconditionally and in retirement enjoyed traveling to Arizona in their fifth wheel to their regular campground. Often venturing across the border to enjoy some time in Mexico.
Annette enjoyed worshipping alongside her church family at North Webster Church of the Brethren. She had a sharp mind when it came to playing dominoes and cards and loved to bowl. More than anything she loved being grandma from camping with the grandkids at Jellystone Campground to simply spending quality time with them. She was a great cook and often treated them with her homemade special mac and cheese. Her best attribute was her sassiness, which carried down through her family. Throughout her life she was always one to speak her mind, and she became more honest as she aged!
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bob Stump, Jr. (
Warsaw, IN); two sons, Doug Stump (Syracuse, IN); Matt (Melissa) Stump (Zionsville, IN); daughter, Dee (Doug) Snep (Claypool, IN); and two step-daughters, Christine Stump (
Warsaw, IN); and Lori (Mark) Reichlie (Fort Wayne, IN). Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Karlie Stump Velasquez (North Webster, IN); Darcie Stump (Syracuse, IN); Rylie (Brady) Ousley (Fort Wayne, IN); Zach Snep (San Diego, CA); Ellie (Nate) Walpole (Columbia City, IN); Ainsley, Elsie, and Allie Stump (Zionsville, IN); Andrew Reichlie (Fort Wayne, IN); and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert and Patrick LaFollette, and two sisters, Rose Powers and Vi Wolfe.
