Annette Willhite Obituary
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 PM, at her daughter's home (11393 170th Ave, Little Falls, MN). Caring for Annette and her family is the LeMieur Funeral Home in Little Falls.
Annette Valeria Niznik was born on February 14, 1947, in Minneapolis, MN, to the late Joseph and Hedvig (Legun) Niznik. She grew up in Minneapolis, MN, and was united in marriage at the sweet age 16 to James Willhite Sr. on December 3, 1963, in Bessemer, MI. Annette was a homemaker much of her life. The family moved to Royalton in the early 80's to run Annette's Family Restaurant for a short time. She loved gardening, laying in the sun, making big meals and spending time with family.
Annette is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Terry) Skwira; sons, James (Jimmy) Willhite Jr, Kenneth Willhite, Matthew Willhite, Shawn (Lacey) Willhite, and two she loved as her own, Nina Raschke and Roy Petersen; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; sister, JoJo Petersen; brother, Joseph Niznik; along with many nieces and nephews.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Willhite Sr.; beloved daughter, Teresa Senart; sisters, Cecelia Hronski and Jackie Schloesser; and brother, Mitchell Niznik.
