Annette Petit Willis

Annette Willis, 77, of Tallahassee, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025. She was born in Atlanta, GA. She attended St. Josephs High School in Atlanta, and Floyd College in Rome, GA. She moved her family to this area in the 80's. Annette had a great love for animals especially her dog Ladybug aka "Cujo". She had many fulfilling careers in her lifetime to include working as an EMT, Paralegal and a secretary at Wakulla County Sheriff Department where she retired. Annette was preceded by her loving husband of 31 years Michael Edwin Willis and her mother Doris Jett Brown and 3 brothers Albert Petit, Paul Brown and David Brown. She is survived by her children: one son, Claude Gary Cooper Jr.; two daughters, Julie Cooper Gibson (Greg) and Kelly Kathleen Blankenship (Joshua); two stepchildren Amy Yvonne Willis, Shannon Michael Willis. As well as 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her final resting place will be at Simmons Cemetery in Sopchoppy, FL. Skip and Trey Young are assisting the family, along with Paula and Amanda. Arrangements are under the care of Family Funeral Home, Crawfordville (850-926-5919).
