A visitation and service celebrating the remarkable life of Annette Youngblood, 67, of Ash Flat, Arkansas will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tri-County Funeral Home, 1540 Hwy. 62/412, Highland, AR 72542.

Annette was born January 19, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Johnie and Barbara Pruett and passed away February 2, 2026. She was a devoted wife, mother, and nurse whose greatest joy came from caring for others. Annette loved being outdoors: fishing, hiking, touring on her motorcycle with her husband and friends, SCUBA, gardening, planting flowers, and spending time with family and friends. Her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Always enjoying new challenges, Annette worked at Libbey Glass in Shreveport for many years before entering college to become a registered nurse. She initially earned an Associate Degree in Nursing and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors. Her career led her to work in several states across the southern and eastern U.S.A. always striving to expand her education and provide the best care for her patients. She retired from Willis Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport in 2025 and had many fond memories of her time in CVOR and the Eye Institute there as well as Libbey Glass.

Annette was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Pruett and her sister, Joy Pruett.

Survivors include her loving husband of thirty years, Ted Youngblood; her daughters: Tammy Forsong, Lisa Brunn and husband John, Tonya Holman, Jennifer Patterson and husband Jeremy; her grandchildren: Breanna, Logan, & Kaylee Starret. Bryanna Allen, Tyler, Madison, & Ashlynn Jenkins, Blake Holman, Bailey, Kaylee, & Lucas Patterson; her father, Johnie Pruett; and her sisters, Melodie Strother and Stacy Gore.
