Annie Ruth Gray Boler

Like so many others in our community, we, too, have many fond memories of Annie Ruth. She meant much to this community. She will be missed.

My mother (Mildred McSwain) worked with her and Watt for many years at Houston Drug Store and thought she was a wonderful woman and a delight to be around. We will all miss her.

Mr. Walter Gray, I remember you from back in the early 1960's when I rode school bus #64 when I was in the first and second grades, and you were the driver, one of the best drivers in Houston County. The sad passing of one of Perry's finest ladies. Sincere sympathies to the Boler and Gray families. I am glad that Billy Powell had the foresight to write a special feature on Annie Ruth in the August 5th issue of the Houston Daily Journal.
