Annie Carthen Obituary
Annie Julia Carthen, 84, of Augusta, GA, passed away peacefully in her home on September 24, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1941, in Waynesboro, GA. Annie is survived by her children: Wade (Janice) Carthen Jr, Marie (Lannis) Briscoe, Elizabeth (Ed) Hatcher, Mary Carthen, Theodore (Dana) Carthen, Tony (Joanne) Carthen. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a devoted niece, Mary Gilchrist. She also has a host of nieces, nephews and other family members left to mourn her loss. Annie will be remembered for her love of family and the joy she brought to all who knew her.
