Chaney
November 29, 2006
Francis and Marc,
I know I can't take away your grief right now but I can give you what I can, my love, support & prayers. May God give you courage and peace during this time of sorrow. May Jesus who always holds us in His care strengthen you. Its not often persons can be recognized as blessing on this earth, but your parents certainly were. Remember that life here has changed not ended and the love of neighbor they each had will forever be with us in the persons of you both. As they rest now in the bosom of the Lord, be assured they are with you in everything you do.

Francis,
My sister Chaney informed me of your Mom's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how much you did for both of your parents and I don't think they could of asked for a better son. Your parents are now together in the Kingdom of God where they will live together forever.

Jerome,
I was so very saddened to hear of your Mothers' passing. I know just how close you were to her. I can only image how you must be feeling right now, however I do want you to know, that even though there are many miles between us, I am still only a phone call away.
Just remember "when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure".

Marc Sr., Chyerelle, Mia and Marc Jr.
I felt so deeply compelled to sign your Mother’s guest book for the second time because after my Mother passed away, my Brother and his immediate family’s presence remained under the radar because of the natural line of succession that manages to surface without warning and unintentionally, when parents of siblings pass away. My message is to acknowledge your pain, as well as your wife's and children's pain during this difficult time in your lives.
One of the many blessings that came about after losing my Mother, was how my niece and nephew managed to heal momentary grief with their vivid stories with how ‘nanny’ visited them during the night, or day with extraordinary messages to give to various family members to help ease the pain. Because of your close knit family, I am certain, such messages, either similar and/or unusual, will surface at impromptu moments that will breathe an amazing light that will help you grieve with purpose, with passion and with meaning only God can supply.
With certainty, Mia and Marc Jr. little hands, feet, smiles and giggles will be the mysterious centerpiece of God’s wonderful healing power for EVERYONE, which is your mother and father’s living legacy to and for everyone!
I will forever be touched with the stories Francis has shared with me about you Marc and your family. I will always be reminded of the love he has for you Marc which runs deep, long, wide, pure and strong.
Please know, in this moment of your grief, my prayers will never cease for you Marc, your wife Chyerelle and your 2 little ones, Mia and Marc Jr.
With deepest sympathy,
Pamela Lawrence, New York

Jerome & Marc,
In time things will get better. I know that no human can replace your losses but remember God said He would be a mother and a father to you. Remind Him of His promises and he WILL do as He said - - I know, I've tried Him for myself and HE IS TRUE TO HIS WORD, TRUST HIM!! Sure, the hurt can linger but I know He can ease that pain also. HE'S SO GOOD and He loves both of your parents as well as both of you as do I.

Jerome, Marc & Family,
For the flesh, all around is unsettled at the moment. However, at the center of us all, rests the love of the Holy Spirit, the stillness of faith and God's promise of joy & everlasting life.
What a beautiful difference one single life has made in the lives of so many. The loss of your mother will be on the hearts of many for years to come. Please allow God's promises to soften your sorrow and give you new strength to meet the coming days with peace, joy and abundant love for one another.
It is my solemn prayer that God will continue to comfort and bless each of you as only he can.
Much Love,
Tammy

Francis, Marc, and family,
I only knew your mom for a short period of time, but she made a life long impression on me with her unbelievable kindness and always having a smile. She comforted me during the period of loss when my mother passed this summer even just so shortly after the loss of your father. My heart goes out to both you and your family during this very difficult time. May your faith in God give you the comfort and peace you need now and always.
