Annie Frank Dixon

Annie Frank Dixon, 91, passed away on January 10, 2026. Born on February 8, 1934, in La Grange, North Carolina. Annie Dixon was a woman full of love, always willing to share it with everyone she encountered.

She worked at J.H. Miles Oyster and Seafood, Norfolk, VA, for thirty years until her retirement. She was a faithful member of Garretts Community Baptist Church until her sickness, when she could no longer attend. She loved listening to gospel music and spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Perry Dixon Sr., son, Willie Patrick Dixon, and her sisters, Gerald, Lillian, Betty, Victoria, and Lucy. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Edna Dixon, Herbert Perry Dixon Jr., Shellita Dixon, Katherine Dixon, Mary Lumpkin (Wayne), Diwtong Dixon (Carla); two sisters, Mary and Mildred; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
