Mrs. Newton J. Kozielski, nee Annie Mae Wilke of Fredericksburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

Annie Mae Wilke was born on May 8, 1940 in Fredericksburg, Texas to Albert and Alice Pahl Wilke.

She married Newton J. Kozielski on November 14, 1959 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fredericksburg, Texas.

Survived by husband: Newton Kozielski;

Children: Karen Ragland, Brenda and David Landis, Ryan Michael and Eric Christopher; son-in-law, Richard LeLeux.

Grandchildren: Brandi and Brent Seegers, Emily Swangren, Mindi and Matt Wood, Justin and Tiffany Landis and Ashlyn Landis

Great-grandchildren: Baylie Seegers, Baker Seegers, Boston Seegers, Jaydin Garcia, Max Swangren, Laini Wood, Braden Landis, Liam Landis and Maci Wood

Great-great-grandchild: Emersyn Blair

Sisters: Alice Ann and Larry Pahl, Norma and George Pehl, Jerlene and Terry McWilliams, Laura Cadde; and sisters-in-law, Terry Bedford, Clara Kozielski and Adeline Kozielski

Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alice Pahl Wilke; daughter, Lanell LeLeux; great-grandson, Anthony O. Ibbotson III; brothers: Alfred Wilke, William Wilke, Jay Bedford and youngest sister

Brothers-in-laws: Jerome Kozielski, Delton Kozielski, Wesley Kozielski, Henry Tatsch and Elroy Juenke

Sisters-in-law: Glenda Wilke, Vernell Tatsch, Beatrice Juenke, Evelyn Moritz and Mary Ann Haufler

The family greeted friends on Tuesday, May 20, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fredericksburg, with a Rosary Service at 10:30 a.m., and Mass of Resurrection at 11 a.m.

Graveside services and interment followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to the St. Mary's School Endowment Fund, Fredericksburg Volunteer Fire Department or to the charity of your choice.
