Annie Mae Hartley Bush was born August 10, 1929, the daughter of Lilia Hartley, in Augusta, GA. She was
called home to be with the Lord on May 11, 2024, at her residence in Johnston, SC loved by her family. Sharee said the last thing she did Saturday night was pray. Sharee also said she prayed out loud and told her she loved her.
At an early age, she moved to Johnston with family. She was educated through Edgefield County School System. She was united in holy matrimony to Thomas Bush.
She was blessed with ten children.
Sister Annie Mae Bush was a praying woman. She would start her day with prayer, scripture and a cup of
coffee and would end her day with scripture and prayer. She did not play. She was strong, dedicated mother and grandmother, independent and serious about the job of loving and supporting her family. She also took extreme pride in her home and yard. She would meticulously sweep her driveway, care for her flowers and plants and take care of her chickens and cats. She met no strangers.
Sister Annie was a hard worker. She worked for over 30years at Reigel Industries with a perfect attendance.
She was preceded in death by her mother, children, Ricky Bush. Lee Bush, Willie Bush and Carl Bush.
She leaves to love, honor and cherish her memories her children James Bush (Lois), Clary Bush (Rosa), Chuck Bush all of Johnston, SC, daughters, Daisy Harrington, Johnston, SC; Annie Bush, Trenton, SC and Tammy Bush, Johnston, SC; a sister, Daisy Corley, Johnston, SC; twenty-two grandchildren, and a host of
