Mrs. Annie Mae Miller

MILLER, Mrs. Annie Mae - Age 83, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her residence. Family hour 4:30 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026, from the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., with funeral service commencing at 5:00 PM. Rev. Allen C. Overton, Sr., officiating. Interment Lovedale Cemetery, 5175 E. Bristol Rd., Burton, MI. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the funeral home 4:30 PM Saturday. Mrs. Miller will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd. and may be viewed from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday.

Annie Mae Miller was born on August 8th, 1942, in Belzoni Mississippi, she was the daughter of Will and Mary Cole. Annie attended Flint Southwestern High School. She also had a short stint working at the Clara Barton Convalescence Center in Flint and she also worked as a home care giver. Above all, Annie was devoted to her family. She was a dedicated and loving Mother, Grandmother and a friend. To know Annie was to love her. She had a gentle, loving, kind and caring spirit, a quiet strength that carried all. Annie was an honest person and never held back, telling you if you wer right or wrong, she was fair.

Annie also had a great sense of humor, she loved to laugh and always enjoyed seeing people have a good time. In her leisure she enjoyed watching The Neighborhood with Cedrick the entertainer, guessing the answers on Family Fued with Steve Harvey or trying to solve the mysteries on lifetime. During her last days she was surrounded by love from her family and a devoted daughter Rochelle Miller who was by her side until the lord called her home.

Annie Mae Miller leaves to cherish her memory: 3 daughters, Stephanie (Curtis) Miller, Rochelle Miller of Flint and Kendra Miller; 2 sons, Derek Miller (Tina Miller-Laginess) of River Rough, MI and Gilbert C. Miller Jr. (Romona Miller) of Pennsauken, NJ; grandchildren, Derico Miller, Kiara Miller, Kwalik Miller, Marquise Miller, Marquell Miller, Maylasia Miller, Kabera Miller, Anthony Billups, Curtis Fields Jr., Curneisha Fields, Shaquan Jones, Teveon Martin, Tyia Rushin, Te'a Rushin, Tyron Rushin and Reginae Bryson; great-grandchildren, La'Marion Boxley, Kassidy Davidson, Aliani Bridges, Nailai Lyle, Kayson Billups, Alaiya Billups, Kyson Billups and Iris Billups; a host of relatives and friends including special friends, Ruth Thomas and Sara Kelso.

Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Miller Sr.; son, Brian Miller; grandson, Derrico Miller; parents, Will Cole and Mary Cole; 2 sisters, Charlotte Williams and Freddie Stewart; brother-in-law, Walter Williams; Janice Gordon and special friend, Johnny Kelso.
